The invention relates to an X-ray diagnostic device having an X-ray tube for emitting beams onto a common ray detector (7) from different directions, which beams pass through a number of layers of a patient (1), and having a computer (15), connected to the ray detector (7), for reconstructing images of the transilluminated layers from the detector output signals. The anode (2) of the X-ray tube exhibits a number of tracks (3 to 6) from which in each case one X-ray beam emanates. Each X-ray beam is periodically interrupted in a time-coded manner and measuring electronics (8 to 15; 17 to 22) are connected to the detector (7) which isolate the output signals of the detector (7) allocated to the individual X-ray beams. <IMAGE>
