The invention relates to an optical member for a lidar system, in which an optical element is designed as a mirror-objective using telescope engineering, and the refractively acting aspherical surface is given a finished shape, the optical member being pressed from infrared-transparent material such as sodium or potassium salt and finally provided with a protective layer and reflective coating.
