PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device capable of keeping high rotational torque acting on first and second cages in an initial time of drawing of a guide member by an electromagnetic clutch, so that transmission/cut-off of rotary driving force can be properly switched.SOLUTION: A first sliding face 53 of a wedge member 26 is composed of a first convex curved face 101 convex-curved toward one side Y1 in a circumferential direction in accordance with toward one side X1 in an axial direction, and a second sliding face 54 is composed of a second convex curved face 102 convex-curved toward the other side Y2 in the circumferential direction in accordance with toward one side X1 in the axial direction.
