<p>Folding shutter having movable slats of the type comprising a vertical panel consisting of slats, two slide channels made on the surfaces of the window opening that is to be protected, to give lateral guidance to the slats of said panel, a box at the top taking the slats when they are in the open position, and a means of control, this shutter being characterised in that the slats (10) forming said panel are independent of each other and are equipped at their ends with slat-holders provided with means which on the one hand enable the panel to be guided in the lateral slide channels, and on the other hand enable the slats to draw each other whether on the way up or on the way down, and in that the means of control (42 - 56 - 58) act on the bottom slat (40), termed the master slat, which slat, as the panel is raised, interacts with means (34) which keep the slats all horizontal, and provide the extra weight needed to unroll the slats properly out of the box (12) as the panel descends. <IMAGE></p> |
