PURPOSE:To obtain a mirror used as a light source by providing a light emission source on the back of a semitransparent mirror plate. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a transparent glass base plate 1, an tens - 200Angstrom aluminum thin film 2 is vacuum-deposited and this thin film 2 is used as one electrode to print and calcine an organic dispersed electroluminescence light emitting body 3; and a condctive electrode 4 is printed and calcined on the surface of said light emitting body 3, thus constituting a light source and mirror. Since the light emitting body 3 is opaque, the body 3 is a mirror on the whole when viewed as shown by an arrow A. On the other hand, when a voltage is applied to the light emitting body through the aluminum thin film 2 and electrode 4 to turn on it, the whole of the body functions as a surface light source to emit light as shown by an arrow B. |
