<p>This invention relates to sulfonato-organosilanol compounds, compositions and methods of use. More particularly it relates to organosilanol compounds which have at least one sulfonato-organic substituent and which contain at least 30% by weight oxygen and no more than 15% by weight silicon with reference to the water-free acid form of the compounds. The compounds, compositions and methods of ?he invention are useful in rendering silicerous surfaces durably hydrophilic.</p> |
