In an arrangement for monitoring the completeness of trains, in which a radiation emission is exchanged under the train between the two ends of the train, the intention is to eliminate the risk that, when additional wagons are coupled on, the part of the arrangement located at the end of the train remains at the old point and thus some wagons are carried along in an unsecured fashion. For this purpose, the aforesaid part (4) is coupled with a coupling device (2) into the coupling hook (1) of the last wagon. The coupling device (2) fills, with one part (3), the coupling hook (1) in such a way that a coupling can no longer be hooked into the said hook (1); when the coupling is hooked into the free hook of a subsequent wagon, the coupling part (7) forces the arrangement out of the hook (1). <IMAGE>
