In friction clutches which are actuated by a diaphragm spring and can be operated by means of a release bearing that can be brought into engagement with the radially inner tongue regions of the said clutches, there is the problem that wear due to friction and to oxidation arises because of vibration in the region of contact between the release bearing and the diaphragm-spring tongues. In order to reduce or avoid such wear, a wear-reducing layer is provided in those regions of the diaphragm-spring tongues and of the release bearing which come into contact. |
