The ladder-entry securing device according to the invention on ladders is characterised by a double-stringer construction, wherein the width of the stringers corresponds to the distance between the ladder stringers (3). A first slight bend (P) of the securing device (1) effects a slight inclination of said securing device and ensures safe use thereof. A second severe bend serves as a handle. The securing device (1) is supported on a rung (13) by means of two fork-shaped supporting members (8, 9). In order to prevent sliding out, the upper end of each ladder stringer (3) is provided with two guide clips (10, 11). <IMAGE>
