The objective of the present invention is to provide an automated analysis device with which it is possible to replace an insertion mechanism while suppressing the generation of dispensing abnormalities and analysis result abnormalities associated with degradation of the insertion mechanism. This automated analysis device is provided with: an insertion mechanism which is inserted into a closed vessel by penetrating through a lid of said vessel; a storage unit which stores an insertion history count corresponding to the cumulative total load on the insertion mechanism resulting from said insertion mechanism being inserted across a plurality of said vessels, and a permitted insertion history count, which is a permitted value of the insertion history count; and a control unit which compares the insertion history count and the permitted insertion history count, and reports to an operator when the insertion history count reaches the permitted insertion history count. |
