PURPOSE:To obtain the title primer having excellent adhesiveness, heat resistance, etc., by mixing a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoroalkoxyethylene copolymer resin and an aromatic polyimide precursor made by the reaction of pyromellitic anhydride with diaminodiphenyl sulfone. CONSTITUTION:Pyrometllitic anhydride is reacted with diaminodiphenyl sulfone preferably in a solvent comprising dimethyl sulfoxide or a mixture thereof; if required, the free carboxylic acid is neutralized with an amine; thus, an aromatic polyimide precursor is formed. This precursor is mixed with a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoroalkoxyethylene copolymer resin to give the title primer for bonding. This primer for bonding can be suitable used especially as an adhesive is forming a fluororesin layer on the surface of the heating roller of the fixing unit of a copier.
