PURPOSE:To achieve a good balance magnetically and electrically in a split winding transformer by arranging a primary winding and a secondary winding symmetrically. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding is separated into two parts H1 and H2 at the centre, which are connected in parallel, and external terminals U and V are led out. Among secondary windings L1, L2, L31 and L32, two windings L1 and L2 are arranged in the vertical direction within the primary winding, and their external terminals 1u, 1v, 2u and 2v are led out. The rest, windings L31 and L32, are connected in parallel in the outer side of the primary winding, and their external terminals 3u and 3v are led out. With such an arrangement, any impedance between every primary winding and every secondary winding can be the same. Further, a load current is fully evenly separated among H1 and H2 windings, so that an abnormal increase of iron loss can be eliminated. In addition, since this transformer is splitted into two parts, the adequate number of sections can be organized, and thus this construction can be applied to a higher-voltage and larger-capacity transformer. |
