Novel compounds of the formula: wherein: Q and Q', which may be the same or different, each represent a group of the formula or an arylene group; R1, R2, R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, each represent an unsubstituted alkyl group; such n, independently represents zero or an integer from ` to 10, preferably from 1 to 6; and x represents an integer less than 6 are provided herein. These compounds have been found to be a catalysts for the production of polyesters and polyurethanes. Such catalysts have a delayedaction effect by which the polyurethanes can be produced more economically. |
