PURPOSE:To exactly measure the displacement of the ground at every fixed interval in the vertical direction by a method in which a large number of casings whose inside center is provided with an inclinometer are connected in such a way as to enable them to bend only in a fixed direction and a filler is injected into the surrounding areas of the casings and hardened. CONSTITUTION:Inclinometers 3 are attached to the inside centers of a large number of casings 2 connected by a fitting pipe 1, and the lower ends of the casings 2 are pivotally connected by pins 4 in such a way as to enable them to bend only in a fixed direction (arrow X). Also, a weight 5 is connected to the lowermost portion of the casings 2. A pit is bored underground, a measuring rod B connected with the casings 2 is vertically hung down into the pit, and then a filler capable of transmitting the behavior of the surrounding soil of the casings 2 to the measuring rod B and also of giving much the same strength as that of the surrounding soil is injected and hardened. Thus, the displacement of the ground can be measured by the inclinometers 3 provided at a fixed interval in the vertical direction of the ground. |
