PURPOSE:To obtain a carburetor, in which a change of height in a liquid level is reduced due to an inclination of the liquid level of fuel in a float chamber at turning operation or tilting attitude of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A float chamber 4 is constituted such that its divided pair of left and right chambers 4a are arranged to both outsides of an intermediate part 7 in a pair of intake passages 2, 3 and communicated to each other through a communication passage 8 in the bottom part, and the center 10 of a fuel liquid level 9 in the inside is always placed in the vicinity of a longitudinal axial line X-X connecting the center of the pair of intake passages 2, 3, then each fuel passage 5, 6 is arranged in the vicinity of the center 10, that is, in the vicinity of X-X. At turning operation or tilting attitude of an automobile mounted with this carburetor, through a liquid level in the chamber 4a is sloped laterally, the center 10 is always placed on the axial line X-X, in this way, each fuel passage 5, 6 arranged in the vicinity of said line has no large change of its liquid level, and a stable feed of fuel can be always obtained. |
