PURPOSE:To provide a recording material excellent in the thermal response with a high speed recording property while improved in the long-term preservability by arranging a diazo-compound, a coupler, a thermo-plastic material and a nitrogen-containing compound at a specified rate to form a heat-sensitive color developing layer on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:(A) Diazo compound (e.g. a compound of the like as given by the formula, preferably non-waver soluble salt such as fluoric acid containing salt), (B) a coupler (e.g. 2,6-dihydroxt-3,4-dibromo-4-methoxy benzoate or the like), (C) a thermoplastic material (preferably material with a melting point of 50-250 deg.C, for example, amide stearate) and (D) a nitrogen containing compound (a compound able to release ammonia by thermal decomposition, for example, guanidinic acid) are arranged at a ratio by weight of A:C=1:2-30 (preferably 1:5-10) and A:D=1:0.1-20 (preferably 1:1-15) to form a heat-sensitive color developing layer on a supporting body. |
