PURPOSE:To automatically detect failure of a circuit such as malfunction of an analog data distributor and the like with simple constitution, by comparing a part of the output of a data distributing circuit with a signal corresponding to a serial data input signal. CONSTITUTION:A conventional analog output device is provided with a malfunction detecting circuit 100. A part of data DATA from a processor is transmitted to a register 328 of the circuit 100, and the data written in the rgister 328 is given to a dissidence detecting circuit 36. On the other hand, data of a register 321 is D/A-converted at 331 and a part of an analog signal A1 is applied to the dissidence detecting circuit 36 of the circuit 100 via a data selector 341 and an A/D converter 342. The timing of an output signal of the circuit 342 and the register 328 is taken at a delay circuit 35, and the circuit 36 collates both the signals. As a result, if both the signals exceed the range of a prescribed error and is dissident, a signal ANN showing failure of a data distribution circuit is outputted. |
