PURPOSE:To provide a printer which enables accurate printing of material to be printed for a short space of time in small quantity with a large variety in kind by setting the material to be printed varied in the dimensions with horizontal movement of a guide member so that the material can be taken out sequentially from a magazine starting at the highest position. CONSTITUTION:A type case 73 combining types for characters to be printed is set. The position of the case is adjusted by moving a character wheel 74 and guide members 12 and 13 are slid to match the size of a price tag to be printed after placed on a magazine base 11. A quick lowering mechanism is operated by a manual lever 36 to lower the magazine base 11 so that the price tag at the highest position will be brought into contact with a tag feeding roller 45. The price tag taken out is pinched between a conveyor 46 and a plate spring 49 sent in one direction to a specific station of an interittent delivery device and then a printing is performed with a printer D. |
