ENDBELL FOR ELECRICAL CONNECTOR

A one-piece endbell (10) has first and second apertures (12, 16). A slit (20) joins the first and second apertures (12, 16). The endbell (10) is fashioned of a material, preferably a polyamide plastic, permitting the slit (20) to be expanded to a degree sufficient to permit a plurality of conductors (18) to be passed therethrough. The described endbell (10) is especially useful for applications in which serviceability is required. This endbell (10) is also especially suited for applications requiring that the conductors (18) be bent at a sharp angle proximate the connector (14).
