PURPOSE:To decrease the amount of waste water and to prevent the environmental polution when a print plate is made, by purifying the washing water to ensue the circulating use of the washing water in case a photosensitive flat print plate is washed by water after picture exposure and alkali development. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive flat print plate (PS) receives a picture exposure and is developed by the alkali developer by means of an automatic developing device. The developed PS plate is conveyed by a transport roller 16 and a spit roller 15 and washed with the water jetted from a shower pipe 12 to be throttled by a throttle roller 17. The water washed away the spent developer stuck to the PS plate is collected into a washing water tank 6 to be circularly used. An ion exchange purifier 22 and a recycled water tank 7 are connected to the circulating system, and the water level of the tank 7 is detected to supply the washing water to the purifier 22 by a pump 21. Furthermore, a 3-way cock 20 is operated according to the state of contamination of the circulating washing water to secure a communication when necessary among a circulating pump 11, a washing water tank 6 and the tank 7, respectively. |
