The invention relates to a device for measuring ink density. The device has a densitometer which is arranged to be fixed in a fashion. This densitometer is fed the measured values via a light guide. The measured values themselves are determined by means of a measuring drum which has measuring regions arranged in the shape of a spiral on its circumference. This spiral-shaped arrangement renders it possible to determine all the measured values during one drum revolution.
