<p>PURPOSE:To reduce size and cost of a supply device by utilizing a lid of a duplicating materials carrying case used for a duplicator and the like, as a manual insertion tray and enabling the duplicating materials to be inserted both automatically and manually by means of the same supply and conveyance measures. CONSTITUTION:Duplicating materials carrying case 1 is detachably attached to the main body of a device. A semicircular supply roller 11 installed on the main body consists of a conveyance portion 11a and a non-conveyance portion 11b. At the time of supply, the portion 11a descends to send out a duplicating material P contained in the case 1 as a shaft 12 rotates. Roller-shaped stoppers 13 with smaller diameter than the portion 11a are rotatably fitted to this shaft 12. The opening lid 6 of the case 1 is slidable and serves as both a lid and a manual insertion tray. At the time of manual insertion, the lid 6 having projections 6f at its both corners is set with its tip inserted into a gap between the stoppers 13 and the duplicating material P. At this time, a cam 8 provided at the side edge of the lid 6 brings a switch 15 into on-position and detects that the lid has been set as the manual insertion tray. The manual insertion duplicating material P1 is positioned by means of the stoppers 13 and sent into the main body by the roller 11 just like the case of an automatic supply.</p> |
