<p>Compsns. for cleaning and sanitising toilet seats comprises 30-60% of 95 deg. ethanol, 10-80% demineralised water, 0.01-5% quat. ammonium salt, 1-10% of 30% formalin, 0.5-5% camphor, 0.1-0.5% pyrethrin and an effective amt. of voilet dye. In an example, a mixt. of 5 g camphor and 0.2 g pyrethrin in 60 g of 95 deg. EtOH was mixed with a soln. of 5 g "Bacfor 80" and 5 g of 30% formalin in 24.8 g H2O. The mixt. was coloured with a voilet dye. The compsns. are esp. suitable for use in public toilets, e.g. in the form of aerosols or impregnated tissues.</p> |
