PURPOSE:To eliminate the waiting time to reduce power expenses of a vacuum pump, by arranging plural moving walls in a vacuum chamber, where an electron beam welding gun and plural suction holes are provided on the side face, and welding successively materials to be welded between moving walls. CONSTITUTION:A moving wall 2e is arranged in a vacuum chamber 1, and a material D to be welded is placed, and a moving wall 2d is arranged after the material D. The moving wall 2d is pushed by a pushing material 16 to bring the material D to positions of suction holes 4 and 5 in the vacuum chamber 1 together with moving walls 2d and 2e. Next, the pushing material 16 is moved backward, and a next material C to be welded is placed in the vacuum chamber 1, and a moving wall 2c is placed, and they are pushed by the pushing material 16 again to bring the material D to positions of electron beam welding guns 10 and 11. After the inside of the chamber 1 is made vacuous through suction holes 4- 7', the material D is welded by the welding gun 10. Hereafter, a material B to be welded, a moving wall 2b, a material A to be welded, and a moving wall 2a are inserted successively by the pushing material 16 to weld materials to be welded successively. |
