PURPOSE:To improve the sealing capability, of a key cylinder as well as to increase its holding power by installing sealing projections around the outer and inner peripheries of the fitting surface or cylinder accepting face in such a manner that the projections extend all over the peripheries. CONSTITUTION:A seating washer 10 has a seal projection 19 near the outer periphery of the cylinder accepting face 14 and at the some time has a seal projection 18 around the inner periphery 12. The seal projections, 18 and 19, are formed projecting outward in the axial direction beyond the general surface of the cylinder accepting face 14, and they extend all over the outer and inner peripheries of the cylinder accepting face 14. A seal projection 16 is formed near the outer periphery of a fitting surface 15, while a seal projection 17 is formed around a insersion hole 12. And a closed space 21, which is formed by the seal projection, 18 and 19, and a head part 5 of a key cylinder 2, acts as a sucker, which increases the holding power of the key cylinder 2. |
