PURPOSE:To provide a welding rod suitable as a welding rod for members for which superior cavitation erosion resistance is required by providing a specific coating layer on the surface of a core wire of a specific compsn. CONSTITUTION:This is a welding rod for build-up welding of improved welding workability by providing a coating layer contg. 35-45% calcium carbonate, 20- 30% calcium fluoride and 35-45% titanium oxide on the surface of a core wire consisting, by weight %, of <=0.2% carbon, <=2% silicon, 10-20% chromium, 0.5-10% nickel, 2%-20% manganese, <=2% molybdenum, and the balance substantially iron. |
