<p>PURPOSE:To provide a non-contact type detector which is strong to electric noise by providing >=1 piece of recording sensor heads consisting of optical fibers to the feed, conveying and discharge routes for recording materials of an image former. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from an LED 5 which is a light emitting diode passes through a light emitting guide 8 and is emitted toward the line for copying paper 7 by a sensor head 9. If there is the paper 7, the reflected light enters a photodetection guide 10 formed to the head 9 adjacent to the guide 8 and is conducted to a phototransistor 6. It is possible to put the diode 5, the phototransistor 6 and its amplifier circuit which are heretofore placed near the route for the paper 7 in the positions sufficiently apart from the route for the copying paper by using optical fibers as the light guides in this way.</p> |
