In order in an electric light fixture for installation in false sealings having a frame part which can be inserted in a form-locking fashion into the cutout and carries webs, which extend axially parallel to the cutout walls and hold resilient catches which can be adjusted in steps, to permit a particularly simple and cost effective catch design, which is moreover to be arranged invisibly, it is proposed that the frame part (1) has at the front a module plate (2) which can be applied to the edges (3) of the cutout and covers the latter, and that the catches are leaf springs (6), which are clamped at one end to the webs and whose clamping point is arranged at a distance from the rear cutout edges, a plurality of clamping points being constructed as catch steps (11) one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the leaf spring, and whose limbs can be inserted resiliently radially inwards through a window (10) of the web (15) and orientated from the clamping point in the direction towards the cutout edges, each leaf spring (6) being bent in a specific way. <IMAGE>
