Device for acquiring and representing internal quantities of a microprocessor system

The system does not have a data output feature. The data are loaded to the address bus (2) and output via the address bus (2) within the microprocessor system (1). A comparator (4) determines the key address which is followed by individual or a number of data items and activates an input memory (6) which accepts the following data. The data transferred can be either displayed or processed further by a microprocessor. The device makes it possible simultaneously to acquire and to process the data of a number of quantities, which cannot be acquired by normal measuring instruments in the microprocessor system (1). The device is particularly suitable for single-chip microprocessors in which the microprocessor can output addresses but not data. <IMAGE>
