The invention relates to a stake consisting of a plastic hollow-profile section on which are integrally formed radially projecting longitudinal webs provided with outwardly open receptacles for wires or the like. In order to facilitate the driving-in of the stake even in rocky ground and nevertheless obtain sufficient strength with a thin-walled hollow-profile section, provision is made according to the invention for the lower end of the plastic hollow-profile section to be widened as a socket and to be mountable on a separate driving-in stake, the upper end of which is constructed as an insertion part for the socket of the plastic hollow-profile section.
