PURPOSE:To enhance the responding speed of an induction motor by calculating the torque generated from the motor and the primary phase current from a secondary crossing magnetic instruction and a speed instruction. CONSTITUTION:After a speed instruction is reduced by a rotating speed signal by an arithmetic unit 4, it is inputted to a multiplier 6 through a limiter 5, and is multiplied by the square value of the magnetic flux crossing with the secondary side. The output of the multiplier 6 is divided by characteristic value data 12 contained in a memory 12 in a divider 7, and the torque generated by an induction motor 1 is calculated. This generated torque is inputted to a phase current calculator 8, and the primary phase current of the motor 1 is calculated by using the characteristic value data. The primary phase current of the motor 1 is controlled in accordance with the primary phase current thus calculated. |
