<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin pipe with refractory, by coating the outer surface part of the synthetic resin pipe with a hydraulic inorganic material, aging the coated pipe with wet air in a specified temperature range, and then curing the coated pipe. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic inorganic material, e.g. Portland cement, silica cement, blast furnace cement or alumina cement, is mixed with water and optionally a reinforcing material, lightweight aggregate or the like. The mixture is applied as a coating film to the outer surface part of a synthetic resin pipe such as a hard vinyl chloride resin pipe, aged under an uncured condition with wet air at 50-75 deg.C, and then cured. The coating film-forming method may be molding the resin around the periphery of the pipe set in a die, extruding the resin as a coating film around the pipe or wrapping the resin as a sheet around the pipe.</p> |
