PURPOSE:To remove a bad smell in the titled treatment advantageously, by placing a porous material impregnated with a deodorant on hair treated with a treating solution containing a compound containing a mercapto group, ammonia, etc. as principal agents, and covering the hair and the material with an airtight cap. CONSTITUTION:In treating hair with a treating solution containing a compound containing a mercapto group and ammonia or an organic amine as principal agents, a porous material 2 impregnated with a deodorant is placed on hair 1 treated with the treating solution, and then an airtight cap 3 is placed thereon to cover the material 2 and the hair 1. A bad smell generated in the treatment is deodorized and discarded to a sewage without diffusing in a room. A substance, reactive with hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan, ammonia and amine, and deodorizing them, particularly an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a salt thereof, maleimide derivative, glyoxal, etc. is preferred as the deodorant. |
