PURPOSE:To always perform a rapid and reliable measurement of a rail level, by a method wherein a level of a rail is electrically detected to conduct a filter processing, and after a disturbance component is removed, an indication is performed. CONSTITUTION:With a level gauge 9 for rail placed on a rail, a rail detecting lever 1 of a contact part 11 detects contact with the rail to turn ON a limit switch 14 of a power source device 23, and a DC power source 21 and a power source by a positive negative voltage converter 22 are fed to a level detector 16 and a filter amplifier 17. The detector 16 electrically detects the level of the rail, the amplifier 17 removes a disturbance due to vibration, and an indicator 20 indicates the level of the rail without the use of a water gauge or a bubble type level gauge, which results in enabling to always perform a rapid and accurate measurement of the level of the rail. |
