PURPOSE:To make possible the accurate detection of the amount of solar radiation regardless of incident direction by providing a small chamber on a car body into which the solar beam enters and by detecting the amount of solar radiation by the difference in the temperatures at the air intake port and air outlet port of the chamber. CONSTITUTION:An incident sunbeams amount detector suitable for a car airconditioner that controls the room air responding to incident amount have a sensor body 1 having a small chamber 4 with a glass-covered opening 3 for the incident sunbeams 2 in the center. An air intake port 5 having an outside air temperature sensor 8 is provided on the one end of the small chamber 4 and an air exit port 7 having solar radiation temperature sensor 9 is provided at the other end. A small air blower 6 is provided at the exit side of the air exit port 7. The amount of solar radiation is operated by an operation device 10 based on the difference between detected temperatures thetaa, thetas by the sensors 8, 9. Said detector device is provided, for instance, inside a fender mirror. |
