<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of chemical soln. in flocculation treatment and to treat water efficiently by supplying the odorous pases from water treatment plants into an iron salt soln. to deodorize the same then supplying the precipitate after the treatment as a flocculating assistant to a flocculating and settling tank. CONSTITUTION:Odorous gases such as gasenous ammonia, gaseous hydrogen sulfide or the like produced from a reaction tank 3, a denitrification tank 6 and an aeration tank 7 are supplied to a deodorizing device 12, where it is deodorized by the iron salt soln. supplied therein, after which the treated liquid is stored in a tank 13. The separated water from a settling tank 9 is supplied to a mixing tank 14, and a ferrous flocculant is supplied through a supply line 15 to the tank 14. Also, the precipitate after the deodorization treatment from the tank 13 is supplied as a flocculating assistant into said tank, where these are mixed. The mixed liquids are supplied to a flocculating and settling tank 16, whereby the activated sludge is finally separated. Part of the separated sludge is supplied through the 2nd return line 17 into the tank 3.</p> |
