PURPOSE:To achieve easy and low cost manufacturing of device, by scanning a head to (n) recording patterns recorded with a digital information signal added with an address signal by a number of times exceeding the number (n) and continuing the output. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal, e.g. audio signal to be recorded is applied to an input terminal 4 and an audio PCM signal is obtained. This PCM signal is applied to an encoder 6, where an error correction code and the like is added. At reproduction, the totational frequency of a rotary head 3 is selected higher than that at recording. Thus, since the number of scannings at reproduction is higher than that at recording, a reproducing scanning locus pitch is smaller than a track pitch and each of all the recorded tracks is traced with the reproduced scanning locus without fail without requiring tracking. Thus, since the tracking requiring head scanning with the recorded track one to one is unnecessary, no tracking servo with high accuracy is required, allowing to achieve easy and low cost manufacturing for the devices. |
