PURPOSE:To obtain the prescribed rated voltage and power consumption to plural different power supplies, by controlling the ignition phase angle by means of a single thyristor and in accordance with the prescribed voltage and the desired power consumption of an electric device. CONSTITUTION:When the use of a motor 1 is desired in a small amount of power consumption in case both the power supply and the load are at the same rate, a switch 8 is switched to a terminal bi and connected to a trigger diode 6 via a resistance ri to control the ignition current of the diode 6. The ignition phase angle of a thyristor 5 varies by the value of the resistance ri, and accordingly, the power consumption can be controlled. In case the power supply voltage is different from the load, a switch 7 is switched to the e2 side with a mobile contact terminal of a switch 9 connected to ai. As a result, the ignition current is controlled for the resistance Ri trigger diode 6 to control the ignition phase angle of the thyristor 5. Thus the applied voltage of the motor 1 can be reduced. |
