PURPOSE:To set both the nip pressure and the heat fixing temperature with an operation at the levels suited to the quality of paper, by switching the heat fixing temperature in coupling to the switching of the nip pressure. CONSTITUTION:A nip pressure changeover lever 1 is set at a position A when the copying is carried out to the ordinary paper, and thus the nip pressure suited to the ordinary paper is obtained for a paper feed roll. At the same time, a contact 3A of a heat fixing temperature changeover switch 3 has a contact with a contact 3B, and a temperature controller 6 controls a heater 5 by the primary functions of temperature setting resistance trains R1 and R2. Thus a heat fixing temperature suited to the ordinary paper is obtained. In the same way, the lever 1 is switched to a position B when the copying is carried out to the tracing paper. Thus the contact 3A has a contact with a contact 3C, and the heater 5 is controlled by the functions of resistance trains R3 and R4. |
