Catalyst for the preparation of polylactams

摘要

Disclosed are catalysts for the polymerization of higher lactam monomers. The catalysts comprise an essentially homogenic binary mixture of lauric-lactam and a salt of lauric-lactam. The inventive catalyst can be stored at room temperature without making special provisions to avoid any access of air and moisture.
