<p>PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. useful for use in coating wires and having excellent wear resistance, by incorporating small amounts of a fluororesin and a polyolefin resin in a vinyl chloride (co)polymer. CONSTITUTION:The titled resin compsn. is obtad. by incorporating 0.2-3pts.wt. fluororesin such as polytetrafluoroethylene resin and 0.1-1pt.wt. polyolefin resin such as PE or PP in 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin compsn. composed mainly of a vinyl chloride (co)polymer. This resin compsn. has remarkably improved wear resistance as compared with conventional vinyl chloride resins, and exhibits good performance when used for coating wires. This compsn. has also good performance in connection with heat resistance. The resin does not scorch during extrusion. Further, this compsn. has good quality in connection with processing performance without causing any problems.</p> |
