<p>PURPOSE:To impart high electrical conductivity to a resin compsn. with a less amount of carbon black, by blending electrically conductive carbon black and a titanate coupling agent with a resin. CONSTITUTION:Electrically conductive carbon black is previously treated with a titanate coupling agent, and then blended with a resin. Alternatively, said titanate coupling agent is added to the resin at the same time when said electrically conductive carbon black is added to the resin. After blending, the mixture is sufficiently kneaded and then molded into an appropriate shape. The resulting electrically conductive resin compsn. can have the volume resistivity of 10<2>OMEGA... cm or lower without damaging moldability by properly choosing the amounts of the components to be blended. Thus, this resin compsn. is very useful as an electrically conductive material.</p> |
