PURPOSE:To enable the pressure feeding of large amount of low pressure oil at the initial stage of braking while small amount of high pressure oil for the substantial braking, by providing two compression chambers at the back and fro of a pressurizing piston while conducting said chambers through a conducting tube having an exchange valve. CONSTITUTION:Compression chambers A and B are formed at the front and rear of a piston 2 in a master cylinder 1. Said A and B chambers are conducted through a conducting tube 5 and an exchange valve 6 is provided in the oil path of said tube. Said valve 6 will function by the oil pressure in the chamber A and the mutual function of a pressure regulating screw 7 and a pressure regulating spring 8 will perform the exchange between the chambers A and B with a regulating level while to perform the oil path close/open function between the chamber B and an oil reservoir 12. While the piston 2 is provided with a push rod 3 at the chamber B side and when the chambers A and B are conducting to function the pressure in the chamber A as the back pressure onto the back at the chamber B side of the piston 2, the reaction of the piston 2 at the chamber A side is cancelled by the amount corresponding to the pressure receiving area of the chamber B side thereby the pressure applying area of the piston 2 will be equal to the cross-section of a rod 3. |
