PURPOSE:To obtain the AC power of set frequency efficiently by connecting a main engine to a synchronous generator via a differential gear unit. CONSTITUTION:The drive shaft 2a of a large outer gear 2 of a differential gear unit 1 is connected to a main engine 5, the driven shaft 3a of the inner pinion 3 is connected to a synchronous generator 6, and the control shaft 4a of a planetary gear 4 is connected to a variable speed motor 9 via gears 7, 8. A PI controller 12 controls the power supplied to the motor 9 via a thyristor converter 13 in response to the deviation between the speed signal of the generator 6 and the set value, thereby controlling the rotating speed of the shaft 4a and holding the rotating speed of the generator 6 to the set value. In this manner, the efficiency of apparatus can be raised. |
