PURPOSE:To perform heat measurement precisely, by providing an orifice in a fluid flow path, forming a branch path from the fluid flow path at the up stream and down stream of said orifice, and providing a flow rate detecting device which incorporates the fluid element in said branch path. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate detecting device 12 incorporates the fluid element 24 which automatically changes the direction of the flow periodically based on the self-oscillation of the fluid itself. As well known, the fluid element 24 automatically changes the direction of a main jetting flow (a) periodically. The Period of said change is proportional to the flow speed of the branched fluid flowing in the branched path 25. A detecting tip 21 is provided in a climbing path 19 or 19', and the periodic change of the flowing direction is picked up by the fluid element 24. The result is received by a pulse receiver 13, and the pulse signal is transmitted to a counting mechanism 9. Thus the integrated heat quantity can be displayed. |
