PURPOSE:To perform the display without unevenness in a normally used region, by switching bar graph display segments from static driving to dynamic driving based on the magnitude of input data without increasing the number of segment electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Unless the reset is released in response to the data corresponding to the limit of the normally used region such as 80Km/h, the output of a JK type FF27 is not changed, a common electrode C0 is selected, segments S0-S31 corresponding to the stored data are selected through a multiplexer 22, and the static bar graph display corresponding to the speed and the like is performed. When the speed data exceeds the normally used region, the output of the FF is inverted in response to the clock from a clock generator 28, the common electrodes C0 to and C1 are alternately selected, the segments S0-S31 and corresponding segments S32-S63 are alternately selected, and the flashing dynamic bar graph display is performed by using the same segment electrodes. Therefore, the display without unevenness is performed in the normally used region without increasing the number of the segment electrodes. |
