PURPOSE:To make production easy and sensitivity high by contg. vanadyl phthalocyanine as an electric charge carrier generating material, and a hydrazone deriv. as an electric charge carrier transfer material. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer contains the vanadyl phthalocyanine expressed by the general formulaIas an electric charge carrier generating material and the hydrazone deriv. expressed by the general formula II as an electric charge carrier transfer material. (In the formulas, A1 is selected from any of an aryl group, a substd. aryl group, an arom. heterocyclic group, and a substd. arom. heterocyclic group, A2 is selected from any of alkyl, phenyl, and a substd. phenyl group, and R is selected from any of hydrogen, an amino group, and an alkylamino group). The photoconductive layer consists of the single layers of the charge carrier generating material and the charge carrier transfer medium or the laminate of the charge carrier transfer layer and the charge carrier generating layer. |
