PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition capable of forming excellent exposed visible image, without reducing sensitivity and developing property by specifying absorbance ratio of Ab470nm/Ab400nm in absorption spectrum of an ester compd., at a wavelength of 470nm and 400nm to <=0.10. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition contains o-naphthoquinone diazidosulfonic acid ester of a polycondensed resin of a phenol and a compd. contg. carboxyl group. In the titled composition, said ester compd. having <=0.10 the absorbance ratio of Ab470nm/Ab400nm in the absorption spectrum is used. In case that the absorbance ratio of Ab470nm/Ab400nm is >0.10 as the exposed visible image formability reduces, said ratio is preferably a range of 0.01-0.06, further preferably 0.01-0.03. And, as the film strength, the antichemical property and the solubility against an alkaline of the titled composition are improved, the alkaline soluble resin may be incorporated in the titled composition as a binder. |
