PURPOSE:To improve the measurement precision, by bringing a contact into contact with a face to be measured of a material with a prescribed pressure by a spring in an inside and outside diameter measuring device. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism for moving two contacts 18 for measurement of an inside diameter and an outside diameter is arranged in a detecting head 16. When the driving force of a motor rotates nut members 32 and 33 through belts 40 and 41, male screw shafts 31 and 30 engaged with these nuts are moved laterally. The first members 47 and 46 fixed to respective shafts and the second laterally slidable members 52 and 53 are connected by flat springs 48 and 49, and the second members hold contacts respectively. When contacts are brought into contact with the face of an inside deameter of a material to be measured, the second members are stopped, and the inside diameter is measured by a scale 55. Meanwhile, the first members continue moving to deform flat springs and are stopped by the operation of a contactless switch 83 due to a magnet 86. |
