<p>The valve controls a discharge of fine-grained fertilizer from a supple container. It comprises a cylindrical discharge tube (1) with a circular door (6) capable of rotation about a diametral axis. The tube has a check flange (2) and is fixed to a container-discharge neck by a collar. The door axle (4) lies on a tube diameter and the diameter of the tube equals that of the door. Stops (10) mounted on the inside wall of the tube locate the door in the closure position normal to the longitudinal tube axis, and handling gear enables the door to be opened to varying degrees. Bolts (9) located by straps (7) may secure the axle to the door, the tube having a cover (18) which bolts (19) to a central door strap (8). A balance beam (11) with chain may be used to open the door, using counterweighting (15) to effect self-closure.</p> |
